I’ll be hosting my third photo walk August 23, 2008 at a local park. Photo walks have become popular events across the country and provide motivation and inspiration for both amateur and pro shooters. I have yet to leave a photo walk without feeling invigorated about photography and my own self-worth. Even though I’ve been a shooter for almost three decades, I always manage to pick up an idea or two from my co-walkers — that alone is worth the time invested.
One thing becomes clearer with every photo walk — photographers love to share/compare their work with others. Events like a photo walk help bring photographers together to share their work.. and have some fun in the process. The National Association of Photoshop Professionals has planned a worldwide photo walk day August 23rd. Check this link for participating cities in your area and sign up for one!
